Founding Director, Murmur
Victoria Siddall is the founding director of Murmur, a co-founder and trustee of the Gallery Climate Coalition and a non-executive director of Frieze, working with museums, art and environmental organizations on strategy, advocacy and fundraising.
Ms. Siddall joined Frieze from Christie’s in 2004 and founded Frieze Masters in 2012. She was appointed global director in 2015, taking over from the founders and leading four international art fairs across London, New York and Los Angeles. She secured the launch of Frieze Seoul before becoming a non-executive director in 2022.
She is the founding director of Murmur, a new initiative that channels funds from the art and music industries into the most impactful environmental projects. She is also a co-founder and trustee of the Gallery Climate Coalition, whose 1,100 members have committed to a 50% reduction in carbon emissions by 2030. In 2021, with Thomas Dane and Christie’s, she launched Artists for ClientEarth, raising over $6.5 million for the environmental charity through donations of artists’ work.
Ms. Siddall is a trustee of the National Portrait Gallery and the Ampersand Foundation. She is also and chair of Studio Voltaire in London.
