Vicente Todolí

Curator and Artistic Director, Pirelli HangarBicocca

Born in Valencia, Spain, in 1958, Vicente Todolí has served as artistic director of Pirelli HangarBicocca, a nonprofit exhibition space in Milan, since 2012.

Previously, he served as director of the Tate Modern in London and the Serralves Museum in Porto. Prior to this, he was artistic director at IVAM (Instituto Valenciano de Arte Moderno). He was part of the curatorial team at the 1997 Venice Biennale and has curated major exhibitions for international artists throughout his career.

Mr. Todolí has sat on many advisory boards and committees, including the Centro Reina Sofia in Madrid, ICA Nederland in Amsterdam, Carnegie International in Pittsburgh, Manifesta International Art Foundation in Rotterdam, and the Serralves Museum. He is the current president of the Advisory Board of the Centro Botín in Santander and art adviser for the Inelcom Collection in Madrid. He is also a member of the Scientific Committee of the Fondazione per l’Arte CRT in Turin.
