Julien Barbier is the co-founder and C.E.O. of the virtual architectural project NADK.
NADK aims to create a catalog, bringing together the greatest ideas in architecture, art and design, with a view to enhancing them in the virtual worlds of the cultural and creative industries.
Mr. Barbier earned his degree in architecture in Paris, where he learned the theoretical principles of the discipline from Michel Verne, a renowned landscape specialist.
Passionate about virtual reality, he has explored the potential of 3D technologies applied to the field of architecture throughout his career, founding two pioneering start-ups in the process. He also spent six years leading the innovation department of a building engineering company.
Today, he is synthesizing the various facets of his journey with the creation of NADK, which symbolizes his conviction in virtual territories as a fertile ground for the creation of collective imagination, and an essential prerequisite for building a desirable world.
