Visual Artist and Pixadora
Eneri is a fearless trailblazer in Brazil’s pixação movement, scaling dizzying heights to transform urban landscapes into platforms for social change. As the first woman from the pixo movement native to São Paolo to gain global recognition, she has shattered gender norms and legal barriers, using her art to challenge inequality, colonialism and exclusion. Her work is exhibited in cities like New York, Seattle, Miami, Los Angeles, Paris, and Amsterdam, and sparks vital conversations on feminism and decolonization.
At Art for Tomorrow 2025, Eneri will explore how art can reclaim public spaces and amplify marginalized voices, drawing from her journey of resilience and rebellion. Her “(Un)Tradeable” project, a participatory artwork in the form of a conceptual think tank, transforms a space of 2,500 square meters on the 70th floor of the World Trade Center in Downtown Manhattan into a dynamic hub for art, research and co-creation, bringing a new theoretical perspective to pixação that expands its dialogue with contemporary art. This visionary work turns commodified spaces into catalysts for change, embodying her bold mission.
Eneri’s perspective redefines art’s role in society, making her a crucial voice for those passionate about innovation, justice and the future of urban expression.
