Visual Arts Producer
Ashitey Akomfrah is an experienced visual arts producer specialising in lens and time based media. He is a creative producer, bringing projects from idea to delivery and is particularly adept at archival research, editorial and post production supervision, cinematography and image capture. Focusing on bringing stories from marginalised communities into the mainstream, his work spans a broad spectrum of content, including artist film, digital content, documentary and short form narrative and experimental projects. His work has been shown at film festivals and biennales across the globe culminating in this year’s Great British Pavilion at La Biennale, John Akomfrah’s ‘Listening All Night To The Rain’.
